The Hunt

The Hunt is a tense and highly thematic asymmetric strategy game set during the opening months of World War II. Inspired by the historical events surrounding the Admiral Graf Spee, the game recreates the deadly cat and mouse struggle in the South Atlantic as naval forces clash over vital supply routes.

One player commands the German Kriegsmarine, leading the feared Admiral Graf Spee on a mission to disrupt Allied logistics by hunting and sinking cargo ships while avoiding detection. The opposing player takes control of the British Royal Navy, tasked with tracking down the elusive raider and forcing a decisive naval confrontation.

Each side uses a unique deck of cards that reflects its strategic strengths and limitations. The German player must rely on stealth, misdirection, and careful planning to sink enough freighters before being cornered. The British player uses superior numbers and intelligence to narrow the search, pressure the enemy, and prepare for a final battle.

Victory conditions differ for each side, reinforcing the asymmetric tension.
