Insider

Do we really have free will? Are our thoughts truly our own, or are they shaped by what we hear and see? Insider is a fast-paced social deduction game that challenges how we think, how we communicate, and how easily we can be led without realizing it.

At the start of the game, players are secretly assigned roles. One player becomes the "master" and selects a secret word. The other players are "commons," who must guess the word by asking the master only "yes" or "no" questions within a limited time. Hidden among them is the "insider," who also knows the word and must subtly guide the group to the correct answer—without revealing themselves.

If the group guesses the word in time, a second phase begins. Now the players must discuss and try to uncover who the insider was. If the group identifies the insider correctly, they win together. If they fail, the insider wins alone.

Insider blends cooperative deduction with hidden role tension in a compact game that plays in under 15 minutes. It's quick to teach, endlessly replayable, and perfect for groups that love a good twist.
