Dorfromantik: The Duel

Following the award-winning success of Dorfromantik: The Board Game, this new entry in the series brings a fresh twist. Instead of working together, players now compete to build the most beautiful landscape and complete the most villager assignments.

In Dorfromantik: The Duel, two players or two teams expand their own hexagonal landscapes using the same revealed tiles. Familiar mechanics return from the original Spiel des Jahres 2023 winner, but new elements add variety and strategy. Double and all-around assignments introduce new ways to score, and two independently playable modules offer more interaction, more challenges, and more replayability.

Some of the new special tiles can also be added to the original Dorfromantik: The Board Game for cooperative play, making this both a standalone experience and a flexible expansion.

With one copy, two can play. With two copies, up to four can compete. Who will create the most harmonious village and best fulfill the community’s wishes?
