Andromeda's Edge

Andromeda’s Edge is an ambitious space strategy board game set in a dangerous and uncharted region at the fringe of the Andromeda Galaxy. This remote frontier is filled with the shattered remains of an ancient precursor civilization, threatened by hostile raiders, and hemmed in by dense nebulae. It is a place of last chances, where exiles and rebels attempt to escape the control of the Lords of Unity and build something new.

Players lead rival factions struggling to establish a lasting civilization in this hostile environment. Beginning with a single space station, a small fleet, and limited resources, each faction must carefully expand its influence. By placing ships across the galaxy, players gather resources, claim moons, populate planets, acquire powerful station modules, and construct lasting developments such as observatories, factories, spaceports, cities, and obelisks.

Every turn presents a key decision. Launching ships allows players to explore regions, harvest planetary systems, visit alliance bases, or confront opponents and dangerous raiders. Battles are resolved through dice driven conflict where supremacy is at stake, but clever tactical manipulation can turn even defeat into an opportunity. Returning ships to the station instead activates the faction’s growing engine, triggering modules that generate energy, resources, and additional actions.

Progress is tracked across five major paths: Science, Industry, Commerce, Civilization, and Supremacy. Advancing along these tracks unlocks powerful rewards during the game and contributes heavily to final scoring. Each faction develops in a unique way, shaped by strategic choices, territorial control, and engine building efficiency.
