Race for the Galaxy

In Race for the Galaxy, players compete to build the most powerful and prosperous galactic civilization using a hand of multi-use cards. Each card represents either a planet or a development, contributing to your empire's growth and strategy.

Each round, players secretly choose one of several phases, such as exploring, developing, settling, producing, or consuming. Only the selected phases occur that round, and all players may take part. However, those who selected the phase receive a special bonus, adding layers of prediction and bluffing to the gameplay.

Cards serve multiple purposes: they are your currency, your actions, and your victory points. Managing your hand efficiently is key to success.

The game ends when a player has placed 12 cards in their tableau or when the supply of victory point chips runs out. Players then tally points from cards and VP chips to determine the winner.
